Who said you need to book a hotel room to experience fine dining inside a 5-star hotel?

If it’s your first time in Qatar and you have pretty much spare money for fancy diners, i suggest you go to Marza Malaz Kempinski at The Pearl, Doha where you can few restaurants such as El Faro, Antica Pesa and many more.

For this time i’ll be sharing my personal experience at El Faro, by the name itself you would know it’s definitely a spanish cuisine, a bar and restaurant.

Background: El Faro means “the lighthouse” in Spanish, and is a trendy corner of Spain inside Marsa Malaz Kempinski. Visit them at this link.

Where: Located at the ground floor. Facing the entrance go straight up and turn right.

Ambiance: The place is old spanish style with wine cellar decoration all over the place, they also have tables outside at the balcony with a great view facing the pearl.

It may be too pricey for dining what its worth trying. I suggest you taste the paella which is their signature dish, it is normally good for 2 which comes with complimentary bread and jam.

Personally speaking, considering the high end place the price is reasonable enough for the food and great ambiance. It doesn’t get that crowded even during Thursdays which is perfect for an intimate date and business social gathering.
